Dear SLICE friends

Just a short report on SLICE-related activities in May:

- quite a few of us met in Reykjavík for the 25th Scandinavian Conference of Linguistics (May 13-15) and participated in two workshops ('Language Change in Real Time' and 'Foundations of Language Standardization')

- many reacted positively to LANCHART's invitation to cooperate about applications for Marie Curie fellowships and assembled for a workshop in Copenhagen in the middle of May (see the End of April Newsletter); three proposals will end as  'SLICE- projects' if everything goes our way.
