From Loreta Vaicekauskienė:
Dear SLICErs,

sharing congratulations and joy with our Finland-Swedish colleagues for Jenny Stenberg-Siréns PhD thesis, we are pleased to announce publication of Lithuanian investigations. Two volumes appeared, the last one just some weeks ago: "Lithuanian language ideology" (2016) and "Lithuanian language ideals" (2017). Both were presented during the annual Vilnius book fair and became a great success with much attention in media and social media. The publications are in Lithuanian language, but we have prepared detailed summaries for both of them in English, you can find them attached to the e-mail (at the end of each pdf you will find book covers and bibliography). While "Language ideology" presents a specific (post-)Soviet development of standard language regimentation in Lithuanian community, "Language ideals" follows closely the line of SLICE and focuses on the research questions raised both in media and experimental strands. We have plans to publish some of the results in English as well, so - see you :).

Best wishes -
Loreta Vaicekauskienė
