LANCHART organization 

Funding

The LANCHART Centre is established by the Danish National Research foundation. The LANCHART Centre opened May1st 2005 and was initially funded for a duration of 5 years. The centre has since been awarded with 5 more years of funding.

Research

The LANCHART research is carried out in close cooperation with the following institutes:

Both institutes are part of Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen.

Project management is carried out by Professor Frans Gregersen (Director), Professor Tore Kristiansen, and Associate Professors Marie Maegaard and Torben Juel Jensen

The International Council includes leading sociolinguists from the USA, England and the Nordic Countries.

More than 40 students work as student employees at the LANCHART Centre.
